Shotover Park & Wheatley Circular Walk – ~10 km

Join us for a scenic circular walk through Shotover Country Park and Wheatley, covering around 10 km.
Shotover Country Park offers a beautiful mix of nature and history right on the edge of Oxford. Spanning 117 hectares on the southern slopes of Shotover Hill, it boasts spectacular views across South Oxfordshire from the top.
Plan:

• Meet at the main car park at the top of Shotover Hill (Old Road, Headington, OX3 8TA) at 1:20pm
• Free parking is available.
• You can also take the bus and walk uphill to reach the car park.
• Please wear sturdy walking boots, as parts of the route can be muddy.
• We’ll stop in Wheatley for a drink
• The walk itself should take no more than 2 hours 30 minutes, but the finishing time will depend on how long we stay at the pub.
