# 🌿 Hen Wood, Boars Hill & Chiswell Valley Circular Walk

Join us for a lovely 11 km circular walk just outside Oxford, taking in woodland, open countryside, nature reserves and beautiful views across the surrounding area.
📅 Date: Saturday 3rd October
⏰ Start: 1:30pm sharp
📍 Meeting point: Louie Memorial Fields, Arnolds Way , Oxford OX2 9JE · Oxford- free
🥾 Distance: Approximately 11 km
⏱️ Walking duration: Approximately 2.5 hours
☕ Finish: Around 5:00 pm, including a stop at Hinksey Heights Golf Club for a drink
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early so we can get everyone organised and set off promptly at 1:30pm sharp.

### 🥾 The Walk

Starting from North Hinksey, we'll head through the surrounding fields and woodland before making our way up Pickett’s Heath and Boars Hill.
We'll then cross Chilswell Fields and continue through Chiswell Valley, a beautiful nature reserve, before making our way around Hinksey Heights Golf Course and through Hinksey Heights Nature Park.
We'll finish the walk with a well-earned drink at Hinksey Heights Golf Club.

• 🌿 11 km of beautiful Oxfordshire countryside
• 🌳 Woodland, fields and nature reserves
• 🌄 Lovely views around Boars Hill
• 🥾 A mixture of paths, tracks and country lanes
• 💦 Some potentially muddy sections after rain

🥾 Please wear suitable walking shoes or boots, particularly if the weather has been wet.
☕ We'll stop at Hinksey Heights Golf Club for a drink, so the overall finish time is expected to be around 5:00–5:15pm.
