Shabbington Woods is one of the largest remaining parts of the ancient Bernwood Forest, once a royal hunting forest in Saxon and Norman times.
Join us for a peaceful walk through beautiful ancient woodland, following a network of paths and tracks. The ground can be very muddy, and paths are not always clearly marked, so please make sure to wear suitable walking boots or wellies.
There’s plenty of birdlife to observe, and the woods are especially beautiful when the bluebells are in flower.
