Bagley Wood & Boars Hill Circular Walk โ 9 km Woodland Escape with Pub Stop ๐ฟ
Join us for a beautiful 10.5 km circular walk through Bagley Wood, one of the largest and most historic woodlands near Oxford.
This ancient woodland, owned by St John's College Oxford, covers approximately 550 acres and features a rich mix of mature oak trees, coppiced areas, woodland plantations, and open glades. Itโs a peaceful and atmospheric place, full of character and seasonal colour.
As we follow the winding forest paths, weโll take our time to enjoy the scenery, breathe in the fresh woodland air, and keep an eye out for wildlife along the way. Depending on the season, you may spot wildflowers, birds, and the impressive variety of trees that make this woodland so special.
About two-thirds of the way through the walk, we will stop at The Fox Inn (Fox Lane, Boars Hill) for a drink and a short rest.
