About us

Rudolf Steiner famously visited Oxford in 1922, to speak at the conference that Manchester College had organized in his honour. It was a tremendous success and led to the flourishing in Britain of Anthroposophy, Steiner's practical application of Rosicrucianism or Esoteric Christianity to modern everyday life and society. Steiner's great mission was to bring the highest and most necessary spiritual consciousness out of its germination in occult circles and to place it firmly and vividly within the reach of an era being overtaken by intellectual materialism. In this group, we shall review and discuss Steiner's vast yet accessible corpus of work and review the training suggestions he gave for enhancing and strengthening moral life and spiritual consciousness.
