In anticipation of the International Booker Prize, we’ll be reading Perfection by Vincenzo Latronico, a literary fiction novel from last year’s shortlist.

It follows the life of an expat couple as they attempt to curate a picture perfect life but progressively descend into empty consumerism and profound ennui.

It’s one of the shortest books we’ve picked so far (137 pages), so let’s see how the story unfolds!
