WHAT IS YOURS — New Chamber-Opera Excerpts

Everyman Opera sings the principal arias and Final Trio of What Is Yours, a new chamber opera. Free at Summertown Arts, no booking needed. The performance starts at 7pm.
Oxford-based librettist and Artistic Director John Tatlow presents new chamber-opera excerpts from WHAT IS YOURS, with music by Greek composer Spyros Syrmos.
The work explores power, family and choice through an encounter between Muhammad, Princess Noor and the pre-Islamic goddess Al-‘Uzzā.
Performed by Flávio Lauria, Mehreen Shah and Phoebe Edwards, with pianist Maya Soltan, this intimate presentation introduces a developing new opera and Everyman Opera’s approach to English-language, piano-led work for small casts and close audiences.

(Meet at 6 pm at the Summertown Wine Bar-OXTWO, across the road, if you would like a drink before the show, or at 6:45 at the entrance of Summertown Arts. Performance starts at 7pm)
