What we’re about
We provide an opportunity for people of Oxford and the surrounding areas to meet face to face, become part of a local social group offering friendship, and a safe environment to socialise and make friends.
Join up now to take part in a range of activities open to everyone in and around the city.
There are no restrictions on who can join any age, profession or country of origin is welcome. If you want to meet some new people, this is the group for you. There are always new members at each event and you will find everyone who attends welcoming and friendly.
Members are asked to follow the meetup usage and content policies. By joining the group you agree to follow this code and accept that the organisers reserve the right to remove members from the group who they do not consider to be following the code.
It costs £400 per year to pay for the membership to meetup.com. To cover this cost we sometimes ask for a small contribution from members to cover the cost of the website. Rest assured, we make no profit from the group and organisers do not get paid. All money received will be used to keep the website and the group running into the future.
