Synopsis
Organisations need streamlined solutions to not only develop but also to deploy data science models. This presentation will walk through an end to end model development and deployment workflow using the IBM Data Science Experience. It will cover the development of predictive model in a collaborative open source environment and deployment to an end point via Watson machine Learning. Model management, data cataloguing and streaming analytics will also be touched upon.
Speakers: Ross Farrelly and Keith Doan, IBM
Ross Farrelly is the Data Science and Business Analytics segment leader for IBM ANZ. He works with companies throughout the region to develop and execute on their strategies to adopt and realise the benefit of cloud computing, focusing on the IBM Data Science and Business Analytics portfolio. He has a Master of Applied Statistics, a Masters of Applied Ethics, a first-class honours degree in Pure Mathematics and is aiming to compete his PhD in Information Systems this year.
Keith Doan is an Enterprise Analytics Architect with IBM. He has about 20 years' experience in pre-sales, business consultant, and system architect roles in helping organisations across industry sectors. His specialties include advanced analytics, risk management, enterprise architecture and technology in various platforms. In the current role of Enterprise Analytic Architect, Keith helps organisations to enable data science and decision optimisation capabilities with IBM Analytics technology. Keith has a bachelor degree in Mathematics and Statistics, as well as Master of Business Administration with a major in Finance from Melbourne Business School.
