Located in northwest Arkansas, we're a community of game designers, programmers, artists, and writers. We welcome anyone interested in game development, whether you’re a professional, learning, or just curious!
We’re an official Unity User Group, which many of us work in daily. Unity is a 3D/2D engine that changed the face of the gaming industry, hitting that sweet spot for software tools: easy and accessible for beginners, yet robust enough for experts creating professional content. More recently, Unity has expanded beyond games and is being used in filmmaking, visualization, automative, and architecture.

February Game Club: Dispatch
Flyway Brewing Co, 1550 E Zion Rd #1, Fayetteville, AR, USIf you haven't participated in Game Club before, it's similar to a book club format. Everyone who would like to participate will vote on a game to play, and then play that game up until everyone meets to discuss and analyze the game. We'll always start with a focused discussion on the chosen game, but branch out from there to similar games, and other games we've played recently.
The goal of Game Club is to expose us game developers to a wide variety of games, strengthen our ability to critically analyze the games we play, and discuss our experience with other developers in order to strengthen our own games.

There is also a discord for the Ozark Game Developers group if you have any questions or want to talk about the game before we meet. If you need an invite to the discord, ask me or any of the other Ozark Game Developers' organizers!
Can't play the game because of Cost/Console/Etc? That's fine! Your participation in the discussion can still be valuable. If you can, try to familiarize yourself with the game or watch somebody else play it.
