Australia finally has a pro-makerspace for hardware startups!

We are having a community session this Thursday night to give everyone a sneak-peek and to give you an opportunity to tell us what we can do to create your prefect makerspace.

Solidifier will be OzBerryPi’s new home and is just downstairs from the old EngineRoom venue at Darlinghurst. Giving us the opportunity to access a full range of tools on a monthly basis.

A message from Solidifer’s founder, David Vandenberg: Hey guys, we’re so excited to finally have a new space to help hardware startups turn their ideas into solid products. We received the keys a couple of weeks ago and have been busy renovating the space and getting it ready. Before we officially open, we want to give you all the opportunity to see how it’s taking shape and to let us know what you want to get out of it. If you are serious about creating a successful hardware startup, we want to hear from you. We’re creating a community to accommodate products through the whole lifecycle from idea, through prototyping, crowdfunding, manufacturing and distribution.
If you’re a coder, electrical engineer, industrial designer, or have experience in crowdfunding, fabrication, manufacturing or aspire to any of these, we want to hear from you! We’ll be officially launching in a few weeks and plan to run our own Kickstarter in the meantime.

For now we’d love to show you how it’s taking shape and have a chat about what you would like to see happening here. Spots are limited, so it’s essential to RSVP. If you miss out, don’t worry there will be a lot more opportunities coming up to get involved.
