Vivid Sydney Lights/Night Walk - Darling Harbor and Fire Kitchen ~7km
Details
This is part of our annual Vivid walk series, an exciting sequel to first Vivid Sydney walk, exploring dazzling light installations in Pyrmont, Darling Harbour, and Ultimo! This walk covers approximately 6-7 kilometres and follows two-thirds of the official Vivid Light Walk route at a leisurely pace with some breaks.
Here's what you need to know (read this all before RSVP):
- Start time: 6:00 PM sharp (please arrive 5:50 PM).
- Meeting point: Outside Wynyard Station - York Street Stand N.
- Route: We'll pick up from last week's adventure and revisit a couple of our favourite spots through different routes. Starting with the Vivid Light Walk, we'll head towards Sydney Observatory for breathtaking views. From there, we'll explore the official light walk through Barangaroo, Pyrmont, and Central - dazzled by the fantastic vivid installations.
- Finish time: Expect to finish the walk by 8:30 PM at the Goods Line near Central syation for optional dinner, which also hosts Vivid Fire Kitchen with plenty of food options, or you can also explore Hay St or other nearby options.
- Critical Vivid Info: While we'll share live location, stay together with the group if you don't want to get lost, often it can be crowded and overwhelming. But if lost, you can enjoy them on your own too, follow the map: https://www.vividsydney.com/events/date/upcoming
- What to bring: Comfortable sneakers, your camera or phone for photos, torch, snacks, water (refills available), and weather-appropriate clothing.
- Support Oz Outdoors: A $5 contribution is appreciated to help cover our Meetup subscription and group running costs. Please carry cash, or you can do PayID to 0435011298, with your Meetup name in description.
