Join us for a scenic evening bushwalk exploring Gore Creek, Coal Loader, and Sydney Harbour. This moderately paced 2-hour hike offers stunning views with a mix of bushland, parks, and streets. It has many inclines, and a good fitness level is essential to walk 5 km/h for 2 hours.

Here's what you need to know:

  • Start time: 6:00 PM sharp, please arrive by 5:55 PM.
  • Meeting point: Wollstonecraft Station Park, outside Platform 2.
  • Route: Our walk starts with a bushwalk through Gore Creek, then heads to Berry Island for a quick stop to take in the views. We'll continue through bush trails towards the Coal Loader, passing Oyster Cove, then follow the Balls Head track before finishing at North Sydney Station (near Metro) via Waverton Park and Lavender Bay. Those staying for dinner, we'll visit the Greenwood Plaza hotel for Wednesday special - $20 steak, or anything else you prefer!
  • What to bring: Comfortable shoes (bushwalk and uneven terrain in some areas), water (refills available), and weather-appropriate clothing.
  • Gratuity: $5, or join the Evening Walk Club here with an annual $20 gratuity for all weekly evening walks.
