We start by walking alongside the Forth river towards Bridgness, passing the Antonine walk marker, before heading towards the Kinneil Estate via a community wood and Borrowstoun roadside paths.

Then a visit to Kinneil woods, a curling pond, a Roman fort site, Kinneil chapel, house and museum, before returning to Bo'ness via the Kinneil nature reserve and the Forthside path.

After the walk, refreshments will be at McMoos cafe in Bo'ness. Please let me know if you're planning to attend, so I can inform them of numbers. Thanks

The route has a few unobvious turns, so I ask walkers not to stray too far ahead. Thanks.

Dogs are welcome if kept on short (not flexible) leads or under close control at all times.

We will start promptly, so please message the MU site if you're held up or unable to walk.

Please sign up only if you are actually planning to go on the walk, and change to "not going" if any unforeseen event prevents you from going, so others may join. Thanks
