Dollar Glen, King's Seat Hill, Tillicoultry Circuit : Grade B

A great circuit in the Ochils taking in the summit of King's Seat Hill at 2126 ft.

Please note that parking at the Hillfoot Rd car park is very limited. Please try and car share if you can. There is additional on street parking in the area.

We start by heading up the recently re opened Dollar Glen path to Castle Campbell. From here we turn West and work our way up Bank hill and then up to the summit of King's Seat Hill. Hopefully we will get some great views from the top of this high point. From here we head South West down towards Mill Glen and into Tillicoultry. The return route is along the disused railway line that takes us back into Dollar.

Length: 9.4 miles
Ascent: 2300ft (700m)

We will start at 10 am prompt. Please let us know if you're held up or unable to walk by messaging the MU site. Note there is significant Ascent in this route so please ensure you have the required fitness to complete this Grade B walk. We will be taking regular stops along the way We will also be stopping for lunch at a convenient point.

Dogs are welcome provided they can be put on leads when requested or when conditions require. Please be aware that other attendees may be nervous around dogs and be considerate.
