Length: 8 miles
Grade: B
Ascent: 1700ft
Pace: Medium
Sorry, no dogs on this walk due to livestock on hills
Boots and poles are recommended
Bring refreshments.
Please aim to arrive 15 minutes before the advertised start time.

Please organise car shares, as we are using the car park for visitors, and please use the cafe afterwards due to this.

Thanks, Tim

From the car park, we go up towards the Wallace Monument, then follow a path around Abbey Craig to views over Stirling, then we go back down towards the road.

Then a quick visit to Logie New Kirk, plus a skirt around Blairlogies' gorse-lined hillside track towards the Western path up Dumyat, then a walk along the ridge, and then down by Yellow Craig Wood, Logie Old Kirk, Airthrey Castle, then back along the road to the cafe.

Fantastic views and lovely woodland paths, some of which may be slippery when wet, plus a small stream to ford.

Option to visit Wallace Monument after £14 on your own time.

After walk refreshments will be at Legends cafe.

This walk will be done at a leisurely moderate pace, and I ask everyone to please stay as a group. Please only sign up if you're happy with this, and make sure your fitness is ok to do this walk.

We will start promptly, so please let us know if you're held up or unable to walk by messaging the MU site.

Please only sign up if you are actually planning to go on the walk and please change to not going if some unforeseen event prevents you from going so others may join in. Thanks
