Join us for a historical sites walk around Stirling including seeing the Wallace Monument, Stirling Castle and Cumbuskenneth Abbey.

Please aim to arrive 15 minutes before the advertised start time.
Please organise car shares as we are using the carpark for visitors and please use the cafe after because of this.

From the Carpark we go up towards The Wallace Monument then follow a path around Abby Craig down towards Cumbuskenneth Abbey.
When cross a bridge over the Forth and head into Stirling Town. A short walk towards the Arts centre where toilets, a cafe and outside space for lunch. We then visit Kings Knot before going uphill towards the jail, Holyrude Churchyard and the castle. Going back via a hillside path Stirling bridge and roadside paths.
Option to go up monument at end £14
or just sit and have coffee in the cafe.
Fantastic views and lovely woodland paths, some of which maybe slippery.
This walk will be done at a leisurely moderate pace and I ask everyone to stay as a group. Please only sign up if your happy with this and make sure your own fitness is ok to do this walk.
Dogs on short leads when required welcome
We will start promptly, so please let us know if you're held up or unable to walk by messaging the MU site.
