Sgorr Racaineach & Crappich Hill Comrie: B grade hill hike, 8 mile loop

These hills need climbing! Join us in Glen Lednock above the "Shaky Toon" of Comrie. There are fine views of Loch Earn from the tops. The walk includes "free-ranging" on heather-clad hills, attractive broadleaf forests and an optional visit to the Deil's Cauldron.

The route passes through Twenty Shilling Wood, then up the Maan road through Chapel Pass to the Sgorr and Crappich Hill. There is some free-ranging in the heather, hoots mon!, hiking on good paths and estate tracks. The return passes the Deil's Caldron.

We'll start walking at 10:00 hrs from the Laggan Park Car Park. Please let us know if you're held up or unable to join us by messaging the event organiser via this Meetup website so that we do not delay our walk. Car sharing is encouraged whenever possible.

We will be stopping for refreshments, so bring a wee snack if you tend to get peckish or a bigger one if you like sharing 😄 Dogs are welcome, provided they can be put on leads when requested or when conditions require. Please keep your dog under control whilst walking near other walkers.
