We start with a wander through Callendar park past it's Statley house and Loch, then a short roadside walk past Falkirk stadium to Helix park and the Kelpies. A lunch stop will be had here.

We then follow the river Carron through some community woods and past Carron Weir towards Carron Dam where we may see some deer and stop for a break

A brief QE2 canal side walk and wander through Summerford to join the Grand Union canalside path back towards Falkirk High.

Please aim to arrive 15 minutes before the start time if coming by car. Thanks
This walk will be done at a leisurely moderate pace, and I ask everyone to please stay as a group. Please only sign up if you're happy with this, and ensure your fitness is suitable for this walk.

Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on short, non-flexible leads when required.

We will start promptly, so please let us know if you're held up or unable to walk by messaging the MU site.
Please only sign up if you are actually planning to go on the walk. If some unforeseen event prevents you from attending, please update your status to 'not going' so others may join in. Thanks
