Comrie Glascorrie Circuit : Grade C Hillwalk

Details
Grade: C
Length: 6 miles
Ascent: 350feet, (107 m)
Pace: Medium
Please note the car park is really small so car share if you can.
This lovely varied walk, taking in views of the river, hills and crags starts from the Fields of refuge car park in Comrie, just South of the River Earn Bridge. We follow the river East for 2 Miles. This is a fairly narrow path and is uneven in places. There is also some undergrowth at this time of year. We recommend bringing walking poles if you have them. After this section we cross a field and head SouthWest and up toward the Glascorrie road. From here we walk towards the B827 and turn North walking back into Comrie to return to the car park.
If the weather is fine some of us intend to cycle from Crieff to the start of the walk. This is approx a 7 mile cycle from the Steading in Crieff. Please message me if you are interested.
We will start the walk at 10 am prompt. Please let me know if you're held up or unable to walk by messaging the MU site.
We will be stopping for lunch at a convenient point. Dogs are welcome provided they can be put on leads when requested or when conditions require.
