Grade: C+ Length: 12 miles
Ascent: 100m Pace: Medium
Dogs welcome: on non flexible leads when necessary.
We walk along the Forth estuary, then loop past Airth Cemetery. Next, we visit Club's Tomb and Dunmore Park House. Then, it's off to visit the Model Village of Dunmore and Elphinstone Tower (Hopefully the snowdrops will be on show) before heading to the Pineapple and back via Airth castle if we can.
Paths can be muddy, there's one gate to climb and there maybe loose horses in a field.
Parking can be busy, so please consider car-sharing: it's friendly and gets people out who might not be able to otherwise.
We will be stopping for snacks, so bring lots of water and sufficient food for a day in the countryside.
After walk refreshments will be at the Kincardine Bridge Brewers Fayre. Please let me know if you're planning to go there so I can book a table, thanks.
Please don't walk too far ahead of the group and note there are no toilets at start or on route, thanks.
