Join us for a visit to the excellent "Skills for the Hills 2026" all-day event at Stirling University and enjoy some fine views from the hills above Bridge of Allan on the way.

We meet by the River Allan in Bridge of Allan and walk up into the Mine Woods above the village, making our way to the Stirling University campus. We head to the Pathfoot Building to visit the event.
It's Free Entry and pre-booking is not required. We can decide on the day how long to stay at the event. Alternatively, walkers are free to stay as long as they want, then make their own way back to the cars.

Health & Safety on walks ...
Hillwalking, even at low levels, can pose a risk of personal injury, and all participants should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions, involvement, and enjoyment. Please make sure you have the fitness level required for a Grade C walk.
Participants are also responsible for ensuring that their walking gear is suitable for the walk and the prevailing weather conditions (which they must check), and for bringing adequate food and water.
