Special Event - Alloa Folk Cruise

To save you time if you've not already booked your tickets sorry to say they have sold out..
This will probably be the shortest “walk” ever hosted under the POSG banner!! And definitely comes under the social part of our group. It's a cruise 🛥️ so all you need to do its walk down the gang plank onto the Maid of The Forth at Alloa Harbour. We will then cruise for 3 hours up and back down "the windings" on the river Forth. We reach just just outside Stirling at Springkearse where the A91 blocks our way. There is a BBQ steak or vegan supper, live entertainment and a bar onboard.
Tickets are £40 per person so not the cheapst, however from a previous trip I can say the bar is not expensive!

If you’ve climbed Dumyat on one of our events you’ve already looked over this section of the river and this is a great way to see the area from a different perspective.

The Important bit: If you want to attend YOU need to book your own tickets, and I would do it ASAP as this cruise is only on a couple of times each year and sells out fast.

Distance: Just a few nautical miles
Duration: 3 hours approx and It's all a break 🤣
Ascent: Depends if you go to the upper deck or not!! And if we go below sea level it’s a bad night 🏊🏻
Pace: Just a few knots
Surface: Water ﹏﹏﹏

Car Sharing, it's friendly, helps the planet and parking spaces. As well as saving resources it can help get other folks out for the day. 🛖🚙🧑🏻‍🤝‍🧑🏻
or you may want to considor a bus ot the train 20 mins walk since the boat has a bar!!
Please wear suitable sailing gear for the evening weather, Walking poles will be a waste of time unless you want to prod people over the side!!
Loona won't be there as dogs are not allowed
