Join us for a walk over the Forth Road Bridge and around the North & South Queensferry coastline. Then, for a train ride back over the famous Forth Rail Bridge.

A short Inland walk brings us to the South Queensferry mural, then to the harbour for fantastic views of the bridges. We then head slightly inland to the start of the Forth Road Bridge to take in more views, make a refreshment stop, and use the toilets if required. We then cross the bridge on foot (which is much quieter and nicer than the other road bridges). After descending some steps, we scoot past a well and the harbour to some benches/grass banking for lunch under the Forth Rail Bridge (Toilet available here too).
After lunch we pass an old graveyard and the entrance of Deep Sea World before taking the Fife Coastal path, heading back along a quiet road, taking in a loop around an optional small hillock to break the road walk up, after passing Gordon Brown's abode we arrive at North Queensferry station, where we will be returning by train over the Forth Railway bridge (Tickets available on platform). After departing the train at Dalmeny station, we wander down the steps back to the start point.
After the walk, refreshments will be at the Railbridge Bistro, which features old Pathe reels of the bridges being built, plus decor that suits the railway theme.

Parking can be busy, so please car share where possible.
Dogs are welcome on short leads; no flexible leads, please, as they trip people up.
We will start promptly, so please let us know if you're held up or unable to walk by messaging the MU site.
