Devils Bathtub + Camp - Summer Family Trip

We are coming into the last big month of summer; let's celebrate with a family weekend! I'm waiting on the final cost for the camping spots I reserved and once that is in I will let campers know. If you JUST want to do the bathtub on Sunday those details are provided as well.

Camping is limited to 15 (not including me and FL), please COMMENT if you are camping so we can keep track. 7 vehicle limit as well so please try to carpool IF POSSIBLE.

Friday: Arrive at campsite; weekend setup. Boujee has offered the family tent. Family dinner and BBQ night. Everyone should pitch in with food throughout the weekend and drinks.

Saturday: Leisurely morning to recover from family BBQ. We will than take a 30 minute trek up around 11am to do a small trail called the High Knob Fire Tower trail - after the trail we will take our lunches and travel over to the High Knob Recreation area where we will eat and swim. After enjoying ourselves throughout the afternoon into the early evening we will head back to camp for family dinner, fire, and hang outs!

Saturday: Saturday is the big gem of the weekend with visiting the Devil's Bathtub. This is a staple hike in Virginia and includes a gorgeous swimming hole - so pack your swimsuit to get wet! We will hike in, swim in the swimming hole AND the bathtub (for those who aren't scared of cold!) and than hike back out to end our wonderful weekend!
