Pickles Halloween Paddle

It's PICKLES PADDLES TIME!!! Dress up in your Halloween costume and paddle the river with us! After the paddle we will head to Rockhill, SC for a nice dinner - Pickles will bring a list of recommendations and we will cast a vote!

Time; 10:45 am arrival
Location: River Walk Kayak Launch; Herrons Ferry Road
Rock Hill, SC 29730 // That will take you to where we are dropping the kayaks. We will then drive to River Park.
River Park: 782 Quality Cir Rock Hill, SC 29730
From there we will walk 3.5 miles on the greenway back to the kayaks, and then paddle back to the River Park.
Kayaks / paddleboards: We will have 6 single seat Kayaks, 1 tandem, one SUP/kayak hybrid, and one SUP available to borrow, including paddles and PFDs (life jackets). If you have your own paddle board or kayak we highly recommend to bring it and leave the ones available for borrowing to those who don't own them!

• Dress for the weather, you will likely get wet, even if only a little. If it’s chilly it’s recommended to where a rain jacket with a hoodie underneath.
• Sturdy closed toed water shoes are recommended as this river is a bit rocky.
• Keep your belongings dry. Bring a dry bag or box, and/or a waterproof phone lanyard. Pickles has 2 extra dry boxes, and 1 extra phone lanyard.

I fully realize that this activity involves a risk of personal injury, property damage, or loss of my person or property. I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, and same for persons with whom are in my party, waive and release any claims or rights against P.S. Hikers, all of its owners and coordinators for any and all injury, damages or loss to my person or property incurred during this activity. I also understand that organizers are not required, nor should it be assumed that they are CPR/First Aid/Wilderness Survival Certified and I am responsible for my own personal safety.
