💎 Easter Emerald Hunt Adventure 💎

This year we’re putting a twist on the traditional Easter egg hunt… instead of eggs, we’re searching for emeralds!
Join us for a unique outdoor adventure at Emerald Hollow Mine that’s open to the public where you can hunt for real gemstones and keep whatever you find.
We’ll spend the day exploring the mine and trying our luck at finding hidden treasures. Emerald Hollow is famous for its gem-rich land where visitors can search for emeralds and more than 60 other gemstones like sapphire, garnet, amethyst, and aquamarine.

⛏️ What We’ll Do
We’ll split our time between two fun gem-hunting experiences:

Dig Site:
Try your hand at real gem mining! We’ll dig in designated areas of the mine where minerals formed from ancient geological activity. You never know what might turn up beneath the soil.

Creek Sluicing:
Next we’ll head down to the creek that runs through the property. Over time, erosion washes gemstones into the creek bed, making it a great place to sift through sand and gravel in search of sparkling treasures.
Tools are typically provided on-site, so all you need is curiosity and a sense of adventure.

• Hands-on outdoor exploration
• A bit of digging, splashing, and treasure hunting
• The chance to find real gemstones (and keep them!)
• Beautiful mountain scenery and a fun group atmosphere

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty—gem hunting can get muddy, but that’s part of the fun. Bring an extra set of clothes so you don’t have to drive home muddy!

🍽️ After the Adventure
Once we’ve wrapped up our emerald hunt, anyone who wants to keep the fun going can join us for dinner nearby to swap stories and show off our finds.
Whether you discover a sparkling emerald or just enjoy a day of adventure in nature, this is sure to be a memorable spring outing.
