This hike will be guided by Merb.

This is one of the most iconic hikes in the Smokies — and one of the most rewarding. We’ll climb through old-growth forest, cross rushing mountain streams, pass through Arch Rock, stand beneath the famous Alum Cave Bluffs, and continue our push to the summit area of Mt. LeConte. The views and terrain on this trail are unforgettable.

⚠️ PLEASE READ BEFORE RSVP’ING ⚠️

This is NOT a beginner hike.
This route is physically demanding and requires endurance, proper pacing, hydration, and confidence on steep mountain terrain. There are long uphill climbs, rocky footing, exposed ledges, and sustained elevation gain for most of the day.

For the safety of the group:
👉 If we have NOT hiked with you before, you may be temporarily moved to the waitlist until one of our leaders can speak with you. Please also let us know if you have experience in hiking or backpacking so we can make informed decisions!
