Let's work off some of that Thanksgiving food and get outside for one more beautiful fall adventure before winter settles in!

We're heading to DuPont State Recreational Forest to explore Burnt Mountain, Cedar Rock, and Big Rock! This one is a fan favorite in the area, and I cannot wait to show it off to you!

We're looking at roughly 7–8 miles of moderate to challenging hiking, with rocky climbs, exposed granite, beautiful mountain views, and plenty of forest to wander through. With most of the leaves gone, we should get some pretty awesome views that are normally hidden throughout the warmer months. Remember, we are not stopping the hiking just because it's cold - WE CAN ADD more layers. If you are not familiar with fall/winter hiking reach out to us in the discord by texting MERB at 704-224-8559 to get added so we can give you some tips!

P.S. - We are aware that on alltrails this trail says currently closed due to Isaias. This trail should reopen before November so please don't fret. We will keep you updated if anything changes.
