Digital Competition: Open, Creative, Person Made, and Intimate Landscapes
Details
Once a month, the Palo Alto Camera Club holds a competition night for paying PACC members. The public is also invited but may not submit photos to be judged in the competition.
Club competitions are a good option to improve your photography skills, get feedback from a judge, and get ideas from peer members. In addition to competitions, PACC also hosts lectures and workshops, tutorials, and small groups where members get together and discuss specific topics and/or critique each other's work.
The categories for this month’s digital competition to be held on Wednesday July 13 at 7pm are: Open, Creative, Person Made, and Intimate Landscapes.
The Special Theme for this evening is “Intimate Landscapes.” Intimate Landscapes are photographs that derive their subject matter from the smaller details within a larger scene. They are smaller scale landscapes that comprise the essence of the scene. The intimate landscape offers a more personal view.
