Meetup & App Launch

Details

Hello fellow developers, and welcome to our very first Pace Mobile Meetup at Pace Seidenberg!

Here at Pace University we are very proud of the effort our students are placing in app development, so to set things moving, we want to showcase some of those apps.

Join us and our sponsors, Augmate and Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems, for a quick bite as we kick things off presenting Everyday, Methodize, Hello Aloe and Pace uCourse.

Presentation

The event will be introduced by our sponsor, Augmate (http://augmate.com/).

Augmate is the first wearable platform that accelerates the development of cloud-based smart eyewear applications. Augmate is building frictionless technology for deskless workers that gets information out of their hands and out of their way allowing them to dothe work that really matters.

Apps

Everyday is an app that lets you know about holidays. It sends cards to your Google Glass device so you never miss another holiday. We have funny and "standard" holidays. Pick the ones you want or all of them!

Methodize is a fun and challenging color puzzle game. Personalize fun with two modes of game play, varying grid sizes, and a selection of graphics to choose from. Race against the clock in uniting the grid to one color or set out on a campaign to match a specific pattern and earn stars.

Hello Aloe reminds users when to water their plants based on a plant watering algorithm that measures the recommended watering schedule of the houseplant species. It takes into account that watering schedules can vary by season and location.

Find classes with style straight from your phone! uCourse shows you the available class information on one simple screen, including professor scores from ratemyprofessor.com. You can save your favorite classes and even export them! Not only that, your basic search settings are automatically stored on your phone, and you can save whole searches for quick re-searching! Creating your schedule just got personal.
