About us
As a man, I felt stuck and unwanted most of my life. Working as a life coach, I see the same thing in my male clients. It is often hard to find other male friends or companions to share challenges with, or to have honest, grounded conversations.
I recently returned to Amsterdam after a year of traveling and Iโm starting this group to change that.
๐ The Format:
Each meeting focuses on one specific topic related to the challenges we share as men.
- Contribution: Everyone gets a chance to talk about their own experience.
- Structure: We follow a simple plan to keep the talk on track and useful.
- Action: We finish by choosing one small change to try out in daily life.
๐ค What to expect:
- A clear topic for every meeting.
- Open and direct discussions.
- Practical ideas you can actually use.
๐ซ What this is not:
- This is not a place for complaining about life or women.
- This is not a therapy session.
- This is not a place for giving unsolicited advice.
- This is not a high-pressure accountability group.
๐ค Who should join:
This is for men, mostly between 25 and 40 (though there is no strict limit). Join if you want to understand yourself better and have a good dialogue with others who want the same.
๐ Practical details:
- Cost: This event is free to attend.
- Language: All conversations are in English.
- Group Size: I limit the group to 10 people, but I prefer 5 or 6 so we can actually talk.
- Punctuality: We start at 10:30 sharp. Please get your coffee 5 minutes before so we don't get distracted once we start.
- Location: OBA Library (Central), 7th Floor.
This group is new and I will be testing different ways of running the sessions. I would appreciate your feedback as we go.
