¿Otro intercambio de idiomas sentado en una mesa hablando siempre de “where are you from?”?
No, gracias.
Este jueves a las 20:00 h nos vemos en Le Grand Café Centro, Pasillo Guimbarda, para probar un intercambio de idiomas un poco diferente, más divertido y con más chispa.
La idea es simple: conversaciones uno a uno, cambio de pareja cada 30 minutos y preguntas que van un poquito más allá de lo típico. Practicaremos inglés y español, pero también jugaremos a conocernos de verdad.
No hace falta venir con nivel perfecto, frases preparadas ni personalidad de presentador de televisión. Solo ganas de hablar, escuchar, reírse un poco y dejarse sorprender.
¿Cómo funciona?
Hablarás con una persona cada vez.
Cada 30 minutos cambiaremos de pareja.
Se hablará en inglés y español.
Habrá preguntas y dinámicas para romper el hielo.
No importa tu edad, sexo, origen o nivel de idioma.
Lo importante es venir con mente abierta y buen rollo.
Este evento es para personas que no tienen miedo a conversaciones un poco más personales, sinceras y curiosas. Nada raro, nada incómodo: solo una forma distinta de practicar idiomas y conocer gente más allá del típico “¿a qué te dedicas?”.
Antes de empezar, los organizadores explicarán cómo funciona todo, darán las instrucciones necesarias y propondrán la dinámica para que nadie se pierda. Durante el evento también estarán ahí para guiar los cambios, resolver dudas y mantener el ritmo.
No es una entrevista.
No es una cita rápida.
No es una clase de inglés.
Es un intercambio de idiomas con alma de experimento social: hablar, escuchar, cambiar de pareja, practicar, reírse y quizá descubrir que una conversación de 30 minutos puede dar mucho de sí.

Another language exchange where you sit at a table and keep asking “Where are you from?”

This Thursday at 8:00 PM, we’ll meet at Le Grand Café Centro, Pasillo Guimbarda, for a slightly different kind of language exchange: more fun, more spontaneous, and with a bit more spark.
The idea is simple: one-to-one conversations, a partner change every 30 minutes, and questions that go a little beyond the usual small talk. We’ll practise English and Spanish, but we’ll also play with the idea of actually getting to know each other.
You don’t need a perfect level, prepared sentences, or the personality of a TV presenter. Just bring a willingness to talk, listen, laugh a little, and be surprised.
How does it work?
You’ll talk to one person at a time.
Every 30 minutes, we’ll change partners.
We’ll speak in English and Spanish.
There will be questions and dynamics to break the ice.
Your age, gender, background, or language level don’t matter.
What matters is coming with an open mind and good vibes.
This event is for people who aren’t afraid of conversations that are a little more personal, honest, and curious. Nothing weird, nothing uncomfortable: just a different way to practise languages and meet people beyond the classic “So, what do you do?”
Before we start, the organisers will explain how everything works, give the necessary instructions, and introduce the format so nobody feels lost. During the event, they’ll also be there to guide the partner changes, answer questions, and keep the energy flowing.
It’s not an interview.
It’s not speed dating.
It’s not an English class.
It’s a language exchange with the soul of a social experiment: talk, listen, switch partners, practise, laugh, and maybe discover that a 30-minute conversation can go a long way.
