05-26-2023 – DEFCON Qualifiers

This is a follow-up from our Meetup on 05/06/2023.
The Pacific Hackers Team is forming a CTF Team to compete at DEFCON. The DEFCON Qualifiers start on May 26th at 5 PM PST and run over the weekend. While this is an official DEFCON event, the point is not to compete but to have fun and learn. Don’t be shy, don’t feel intimidated. We have members here to support you and help you.
Agenda:
4:30 PM – Preparation: We will check for last-minute issues (connectivity, PC problems, etc.), registration, etc.
5:00 PM – CTF Kickoff.
7:00 PM – Hacker Dojo Lightning Talks
What to bring:

• Computer with your OS of Choice (We Recommend Kali Linux)
• Virtual Machines (pre-installed) if you don’t want to use your main computer.
• Willingness to learn and have fun.
  Some refreshments will be provided.
