What we’re about

At Pacte Pédale, we are a group of road cycling enthusiasts from Salzburg, on a mission to connect while in motion. We do so by carefully curating:

  • Exciting community rides to enjoy our time on the saddle. At this point in time, we have representation in Salzburg and will soon expand to:
    • Berlin
    • Düsseldorf
    • Frankfurt
    • Hamburg
    • Innsbruck
    • Koblenz
    • Munich
    • Vienna
  • Themed 14-week newsletter series to help and guide our members during training. Examples of our upcoming:
    • Ride & Dine: A well-curated 14-week newsletter series with a collection of:
      • Recipes to supplement our time away from the bike.
      • Spin bike or smart trainer workouts at selected partner locations.
    • Lift and grind: A well-curated 14-week newsletter series includes a set of strength training exercises to support us on days when we are not cycling.
    • Zwift e-games competition: Adding a competitive edge for those who are more competitive

To summarise, we are your cycling companion, creating a space that inspires and supports the pact; knowing change is constant, that we are always in motion to reframe our way of life for the better.

Unless stated otherwise, within the event description, we typically ride in the following bands:

  1. Beginner/Novice Group: Suitable for cyclists who are new to road cycling or prefer a slower pace. This group typically rides at an average speed of 19-24 kph.
  2. Intermediate Group: Ideal for cyclists with some experience who can maintain a moderate pace for longer distances. Intermediate riders typically ride at an average speed of 24-29 kph and can handle moderate hills and rolling terrain.
  3. Advanced/Experienced Group: Geared towards experienced cyclists comfortable riding at a faster pace and tackling more challenging terrain. Advanced riders typically ride at an average speed of 29-32+ kph and may enjoy longer distances and more hilly or mountainous routes.

For all new locations, keep an eye out for the inaugural event, which will be publicised. In the meantime, we invite you to join us electronically (via Zwift or shared training series) through our different newsletters.

Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or just starting out, there's a place for you in our vibrant and welcoming community. Don't just take our word for it—come ride with us and experience Pacte Pédale for yourself.
