Kayak and Music festival

On November 3rd through November 5, at Lake Pleasant, will be the Luna Del Lago festival with music from a variety of genre's, taking place at Lake Pleasant Harbor at the south end of the lake.

I had a long conversation with staff at Lake Pleasant, and believe our best option will be to camp at Lake Harbor on the "cactus ring" circle. As of now there are 50 spaces, without hookups for tents or rv's of any size. There is a place to launch our boats nearby. The link for camping reservations is https://www.camplife.com/418/reservation/step1 If you buy by calling them they waive a $3 admin fee. The telephone number is 623-235-6130. Once you get a ticket to the general camping area, at cactus ring, the spot you choose will be first come first served. I was told there would be plenty of spaces for our group. When I set up Friday morning (or Thursday evening) I will put up a Paddle Arizona sign for you to find us.

You don't need to camp with us, but just join us for sharing music, meals, and kayaking. I am organizing a car camp at Lake Pleasant Harbor at "cactus ring" area. Here we can have our own celebration through kayaking, playing our own music with those who have an interest, such as a drumming circle which I have been active with as of late, and a potluck dinner Saturday evening.

Tickets for the music festival is $55 for each day.

There will be no charge to join us for the camping and kayaking.
There will be a fee to Lake Pleasant to camp, to be clarified later.
I have 3,4 kayaks for those who may want to borrow for a nominal fee to go to the club's slush fund.
