Honoring our Veterans - Dragon Boat with Adaptive Fusion
Details
Veterans Day is this month, and we are honored to have six team members who have served their country. We will take a few minutes to honor these men and women, though some will not be there in person.
Come together for a morning of teamwork, camaraderie, and outdoor fun.
Already like OC, kayaking or stand-up Paddle Board? You're invited to try out the great sport of dragon boating. These large canoes hold up to 20 people and have a steersperson and a caller. You sit two on a bench, facing forward, and paddle on one side.
Racing is fast and furious as they are sprints.
This exciting paddling experience is open to people of all abilities.
Our experienced instructors will provide guidance and support, ensuring everyone can participate and enjoy the benefits of this exhilarating sport.
Don't miss this opportunity and see if you get "bit" by the dragon. If you do, this sport features racing competitions, ranging from local to international levels.
Yes, our team, Adaptive Fusion, has a General Manager who is blind, a Team Captain who is Deaf, and others with PTSD, or are amputees or have other disabilities, plus other paddlers who don't. We welcome all!
We are also four-time National Paradragon Champions!
