What we’re about
Do you like to paddleboard and want to get in a good workout with fun people? If the answer is yes, then this group is for you. Meet awesome like-minded individuals while learning new techniques. ALL skill levels are welcome to join. We partner with a few rental companies throughout LA and OC; however, bringing your own board is always more convenient due to their limited hours and availability.
We mainly depart from Long Beach, Sunset/Huntington Harbor, and Newport Harbor, but we’re always open to new location suggestions. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message.

Calling all paddle enthusiasts and/or sunset chasers. 🌅
Grab your board or kayak and meet us at Alamitos Bay in Long Beach. All skill levels are welcome, and you must be competent at paddling when it gets dark.
What you’ll need:

A paddleboard or kayak

A paddle (don’t forget this)

A battery-operated light 💡🔦 so you can be seen by boats and others when it starts to get dark.

Life vest/belt and a leash
Paddle Route:
- We will begin at the bay, paddle through the canals and around Naples Island, then return to our starting point.
Timeline:

On the sand, ready to go at 6:00pm

Intro/stretch at 6:10pm

Underway by 6:15pm

Back by 7:45-8:00pm

TBD - We will go somewhere for food/drinks after for whoever is interested.
Need to rent a board? Unfortunately, the rental facility is closed at our designated meet time. If you need to rent a board, our Saturday events would be best to join as the rental facility can accommodate at this time.

- 🌴 Weekend Paddle around Naples IslandLeeway Beach, Long Beach, CA
Calling all paddling enthusiasts!
Grab your board (or kayak) and meet us in Alamitos Bay, Long Beach. All skill levels are welcome, and you may also bring your furry friend if they’re comfortable.
What you’ll need:

Paddle Route:
We’ll be heading over to Spinnaker Bay for a dip in the water (optional) and then finishing the loop around Naples Island. (approx. 3.5 miles)
Timeline:

Be ready by 9:30am

Back by 11:45-12pm
**TBD - For those interested we we usually go someplace after if you want to join.
Need to rent a board or kayak?
Kayaks On The Water (rental place) opens at 9:00am so that you can be on the water and ready for the excursion.

Hi Everyone!
Feeling adventurous?
Join us for an epic experience down the historic Black Canyon Water Trail from Hoover Dam!
What to Expect:
Meet at Willow Beach at 6:30am

Shuttle to Hoover Dam and go through security
Launch at 8am from base of Hoover Dam
Our guide will share the history of the river as we paddle the 12 miles to Willow Beach with several stops along the way (all hikes are optional):
· Sauna Cave: stop to discover hot springs deep inside the canyon
· Boyscout Canyon: explore this area to see hot springs, narrow slot canyons, and waterfalls!
· Emerald Cove: we’ll stop on the beach here for a 30 minute break
· Gold Strike Hot Springs: just a 5-10 minute hike away, we’ll head to these hot springs for a quick dip and photo-op
· Arizona Hot Springs Beach: we’ll hike about 15 minutes up to this open beach area to enjoy a lunch or snack break
· Emerald Cave: this gorgeous cave formed by natural faulting lights up emerald green. We’ll paddle through for a quick photo
· Historic Trailhead: this is a quick 5-10 minute hike leading to the 1920’s homesite of the gauger and offers great views for a photo-opOur package is custom for our group and assumes a minimum of 10 paddlers and a maximum of 15. https://adventurechild.com/
Only a limited number of launch permits are available and they are booked months in advance.Cost: $120/each
What this includes:
Adventure Child will provide an experienced guide, launch permit and shuttle our watercraft from Willow Beach to Hoover Dam to launch
What this doesn’t include:
