Baltimore Floatilla "Maryland Strong" - Huge Event, Register Early!

So this crowd will be a bit bigger than our usual events - by say 250 or so people. That's right - the Baltimore Floatilla is back for 2024!

Come out and show your Maryland spirit for an awesome event! We'll meet at the Canton Waterfront Park and paddle to the Inner Harbor. Our group is known for some amazing costumes, so decorate your self and your boat! This is a cool way to see the harbor from a different perspective and show your support for clean waterways.

Outside registration is required on the Waterfront Partnership's website below. The price is $40 before May 13th, or $45 afterwards. They always give you a quality t-shirt and they lunch, so it is a pretty good deal. Don't forget to join the "Paddle Something" team when you register!

The trip is five miles and it can get fairly windy at some locations, so this isn't guaranteed to be an easygoing cruise (but we might get lucky). The hosts will verify that everyone is wearing a USCG-approved life jacket.
Since this really isn't OUR event, I can't tell you that inflatable kayaks are prohibited, but you are guaranteed to have an even more miserable time than usual if you try paddling one here.
