Post-rain evening paddle of Weems Creek in Annapolis

Details
May the forth be with you and may the rain clear out mid-afternoon. The weather has been questionable most of the weekend, but it looks like clear skies and low winds by later Sunday afternoon. Come join a short (2.5 - 3 mile) jaunt around Weems Creek to bulk up your defenses against the workweek blues.
Weems Creek is about as long as Spa Creek, but with significantly less boat traffic. However, it only has a single public access point with a loading zone, not a parking lot. Please do not block anyone's driveway while you unload your gear at Tucker Street. There is ample street parking a block away, but give yourself at least 20 minutes to get unloaded an back to the ramp.
We will launch promptly at 5:00. We will head west, under the Route 70 bridge and towards the headwaters of the creek, and meander a bit as we come back. We will not head out into the Severn River.
This is event is suitable for paddleboards (including iSUPs), recreational/touring kayaks, and canoes, but not inflatable kayaks. Everyone must WEAR, not just bring a USCG-approved life jacket or PFD. We will be back on shore well before sunset, but bringing a deck light is never a bad idea when paddling in the evening.
I could probably be persuaded to grab a late dinner or Always Ice Cream afterwards.
