Patapsco River Afternoon Upstream Paddle

Details
If you can't make it to Marley Creek on Sunday morning, here is a chance for a nearby late afternoon paddle.
The water should be quite calm with lots of woods and wetlands surrounding us, but the sound of nearby highways will be ever-present. Still, it is a neat urban oasis to poke around. We will head upstream (west) from the ramp and probably get 1.5 to 2 miles before turning around.
This event is suitable for SUPs (including iSUPs), touring kayaks, recreational kayaks and canoes. We will be approaching high tide, though any paddle boarders still need to be on the lookout for sand bars that could snag their skeg. Pedal kayaks or boats with fixed rudders are strongly discouraged. As always, inflatable kayaks and rafts are not allowed. Everyone must WEAR, not just bring a USCG-approved life jacket or PFD.
Please be ready to launch promptly at 4:00.
