Exploratory Paddle from Sandsprit Park

JOIN US FOR A EXPLORATORY PADDLING EXPERIENCE,,,
We'll launch from Sandsprit Park at the boat ramp and explore the nearby sandbars and islands while taking breaks along the way. We're starting a little earlier to avoid boat traffic. Afterwards, we can check out nearby lunch spots if you have time. We did a preliminary runof this paddle recently and we think it's going to be great.

Who Should Come?

• Intermediate or Stronger Paddlers Only: No first-timers or those who lag far behind a group. NO EXCEPTIONS. I need my paddlers who can paddle, keep up with the group and deal with some boat wake. We will be paddling in the Intracoastal where in some areas boats go fast. There a couple of spots where we all need to pay attention but other than that we will be exploring. Join our "Fabulous First Timer" meetups on Wednesday or Saturday mornings if you're new to paddleboarding or need a refresher. Questions? Text me 561.260.2628 to see if this event is for you.

How to Secure Your Spot

• RSVP: Even if you have your own board, let us know you're coming.
• Rentals: Need a board? It's $30 before the event date via Venmo (@vivian-caylor) or Zelle (5612602628, include event date). If you have your own, it's $10 by event day. For questions, text 561.260.2628.

Event Details

• Arrival: Be on time to fit your rental equipment. If using an inflatable board, arrive early to inflate and get ready.
• Location: Check 'How to find us' the night before and use GPS to plan your route.

Weather & Cancellation

• I check detailed forecasts and will cancel by 6 am if the wind is too strong or thunderstorms are expected. Refunds are available for cancellations done the day before the event. You can also use the payment for a future paddle. (Text 561.260.2628 for refunds). No refunds for no-shows.
