Paddle to Juno Dunes Natural Area from Bert Winters Park

We will launch from Bert Winters Park and paddle into the mangrove lined waterways of the Juno Dunes Natural Area. The local eco-systems at Juno Dunes Natural Area once dominated the coastal areas of Florida. It is the largest remaining tract of Atlantic Ridge Scrub habitat left in Palm Beach County. We also paddle through some canals with some very nice homes on the way back to Bert Winters Park.
How to Join:

• RSVP: Even if you have your own board, let me know you're coming.
• Have Your Own Board?: If you have your own, it's $10 (Venmo, Zelle, or Cash).

Important Notes:

• Intermediate Paddlers Only: No first-timers. Join one of our a "Fabulous First Timer" meetup if you're new to SUP or unsure of your skills.
• Experienced Paddlers: If you've paddled only a couple times or you have struggled to keep up with a group or after a long break (years), text me at 561.260.2628 to confirm this event is right for you.
• Bring a Water/Snack: Bring water for sure. Bring a snack if you don't normally eat breakfast or just need a snack when you're doing something physical.

Weather & Cancellation

• I check detailed forecasts and only cancel if necessary (usually by 6 am event day). If I don't cancel the meetup, it's because I feel it will be a good morning to paddle based on the weather forecast just before we get out.
• We do have a 24 hr cancellation rental refund policy for no-shows or those who cancel event day. If you can't make it, please cancel the day before with a text to 561.260.2628 (please not in the meetup comments).
