Watch the Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade from Paddleboards!!!!!

Details
What???!!! This will be the 9th year that we have done the Holiday Boat Parade. Unbelievable! Please wear a Santa Hat or other holiday garb if you can. Or wear a green shirt if you're feeling Grinchy. ;) It's all part of the fun of this event is about other than watching the Holiday Boat Parade close up and personal! Bring a headlamp for safety as require by the Coast Guard. Wear Xmas lights for fun and safety! While the Palm Beach Boat Parade is in it's 30th year; we're supporting supporting another local organization, House of Hope.
You can bring unwrapped toys. We're also asking forcanned and boxed foods and baby items like diapers The House of Hope works with all sorts of people in need. This is a great time to donate goods to this very deserving charity. :)
The parade starts in North Palm Beach and heads north to Jupiter. We will launch from Anchorage Park and watch it near the beginning of the route. We know the path to follow to keep the boat traffic we will deal to a minimum. We found a nice little beach to hang out at so we can stay away from the boats during the parade. You will need a good light for this event. A light that can be seen by other boats as required by the Coast Guard. Headlamps are the easiest and best for after dark and you can pick up an inexpensive one at Walmart in the camping area. I would also recommend some red and green lights to put on your front and your back so you can be seen more easily and still be very festive!!! The Marine Sheriff's Patrol will be out there most likely so it's important to have our life vests and lights as required by the US Coast Guard. This paddle is a lot of fun!!! Bring some water shoes or sandals just because.
If you need to rent a board, please let me know when you RSVP. It's $25 per board. If you have your own board; it's $10. Just answer 'yes' to the rental question when you RSVP. Payment in advance is required for rentals. You can pay day of the event if you have your own board. You can use Zelle (my cell# 561.260.2628) or Venmo using @vivian-caylor. If you can only use a credit card, text me at the above cell number. I can bring a light for anyone renting a board but FYI . No first time paddlers for this event!!! No exceptions!!! You must be able to keep up with a group as well. If you are always at the back of a group when paddling, please text me at 561.260.2628 to determine if this paddle is appropriate for you. See you at the parking spaces just outside Anchorage Park!!!
