Island Hopping Paddle North of the Causeway from Little Jim's in Fort Pierce

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE MEETUP DESCRIPTION. We're going island hopping as we head north of the North Causeway. This whole area is a great place to paddle & explore the Real Florida. Due to the direction of the tide, we'll paddle north of the bridge and continue our exploration of this awesome natural area. Look for my large white van. Afterwards let's try something different and go to the Islamorada Brewery just a little bit north and west of Fed Hwy 1.

1. Who should come? Any one is an intermediate paddler or stronger. No First Time Paddlers or paddlers who paddle very infrequently or can't keep up with a group. No Exceptions. Any one who wants to learn how to paddleboard should join our Fabulous First Timer meetups usually on Saturday mornings.
2. How to secure your spot: RSVP for this event (even if you have your own board). If you need to rent a paddleboard; the cost of the rental is $30 paid via Venmo or Zelle at least one day in advance. If you have your own board, it's $10 per person by event day. For Venmo; use @vivian-caylor & include the event date. For Zelle, the phone number is 561.260.2628 & inc the event date. If you have a credit card or other questions, please text me at 561.260.2628.
3. When: Arrive at the start time listed above so we can get your equipment fitted if you are renting. If you have an inflatable board, please arrive early enough to inflate your board and be ready to go.
4. Where: Carefully read 'How to find us' section. Check GPS the night before so you know how long it takes to get to the launch location.
5. What to do if the weather is questionable? I check multiple detailed weather and radar forecasts. I will cancel the event by 6am if the forecasted wind is too strong OR if there is a strong chance of lightning based on forecasted thunderstorms heading our way during the event. If I don't cancel the event on Meetup; then the event will take place. If I cancel the event due to weather or whatever, you will be refunded (text me for a Zelle refund as your phone number is needed). You can also use the payment for the next time you paddle (LMK). We do have a 24 hr cancellation rental refund policy for no-shows or those who cancel event day. If you can't make it, please cancel the day before with a text to 561.260.2628 (please not in the meetup comments).
6. My goal has always been to create and maintain a community of paddlers. I love spending time on the water. It's so much better with friends, new and old. See you at Little Jim's for the launch!
