This paddle from the North Causeway Bridge is one of my favorites in St. Lucie County. It’s a fantastic spot to paddle and explore the Real Florida. We'll meet at Little Jim's Bait & Tackle on the North Causeway Bridge and paddle towards Dynamite Point, a historic site where Navy SEALs as they began their journey during WWII. Park in the upper lot. There’s an outdoor restaurant where we park with live music every weekend if you’d like to have lunch afterwards.
HOW TO JOIN:

• RSVP: Even if you have your own board, let me know you're coming.
• Have Your Own Board?: If you have your own, it's $10 (Venmo, Zelle, or Cash).

Important Notes:

• Intermediate or Stronger Paddlers Only: No first-timers or those who lag far behind a group. What is an intermediate paddler? It's someone who paddles confidently and can easily keep up a group even if wind or current are stronger than expected. Is that you? • Bring a Water/Snack: Bring water for sure. Bring a snack if you don't normally eat breakfast or just need a snack when you're doing something physical.

Weather & Cancellation

• I check detailed forecasts and only cancel if necessary (usually by 6 am event day). If I don't cancel the meetup, it's because I feel it will be a good morning to paddle based on the weather forecast just before we get out. Please refrain from weather comments. If you are concerned about the weather, please text me.
• We do have a 24 hr cancellation rental refund policy for no-shows or those who cancel event day. If you can't make it, please cancel the day before with a text to 561.260.2628 (please not in the meetup comments).
