Women's Paddleboard Workout
Let’s paddle..faster! Join us every Thursday evening for a brisk paddleboard workout. We’re no longer waiting for perfect weather—unless there’s lightning or a storm, we’re hitting the water. A little rain? No problem. After all, this is a water sport!
Details:
- Time: 6:00 pm (sunset at end of paddle)
- Location: Sawfish Bay Park in Jupiter(location may change in Oct/Nov)
- Distance: 2 laps (3.5 miles total). One lap is totally fine if that’s your pace! We also have a slightly different course that's particularly if you just starting out. That course will be approximately 2 miles.
- Pace: This is a workout paddle. The idea is to go fast at whatever that is for you. You are racing against yourself. Kind of like running when you are training to be faster...you should be paddling at a steady fast pace where it's challenging to have a conversation.
- Who should sign up? Women who want a workout, get your heart rate up and even race train if that's your goal. Women paddlers who are not first timers or just started paddling or haven't paddled in a long time. If you are unsure whether this event is for you, text me at 561.260.2628. If you are new to paddleboarding or want to improve your skills before coming out to paddle with us; then RVSP for our Fabulous First Timers meetup with our sister meetup group, Paddleboard Palm Beach County, You will learn the form that you need to paddle with us on Thursdays.
Important Reminders:
- Bring a headlamp or board light – Coast Guard regulations require visibility after sunset.
- Bring bugspray in case the wind is calm.
- RSVP if you’re attending so we know who’s coming.
