West Thompson Lake, Quinebaug River Upstream

Requirements:

• PFD, 10-foot length of rope, whistle and headlamp/flashlight.
• You must have your PFD on and fully fastened to participate in this event.
• Be prepared to give your emergency contact number to the host if he or she asks for it.
• Event start time is in your boat, in the water, and ready to paddle!

Launch Point: A GPS of 341 Reardon Road, North Grosvenor Dale CT, will get you close to the turnoff for the boat ramp on West Thompson Lake in North Grosvenor Dale. It is at the end of West Thompson Lake Recreation Road, which is off of Reardon Road. We will paddle upstream as far as water levels will allow. This will be a quiet paddle with few power boats and undeveloped shoreline.
We will need to be off the water by 7:30 pm.
In accordance with tradition, after paddle dinner will be at Giant Pizza 64 Providence Pike Putnam CT 06260
