Full Corn Moon Paddle

This is a very relaxed paddle to take in the full moon rising over Lake Siog/Holland Pond in Holland, MA. Please note that the Lake Siog Rec area closes at 5 pm and we will be meeting at the Holland Boat ramp on Morse Lane just off of Morse Rd in Holland. (For those who have done the canoe trail, this is a larger parking lot down the dirt road, and NOT the small lot by the end of the canoe trail.). This event is in conjunction with Central Mass Kayaking & Canoeing and there will be additional paddlers present. Please arrive early and have a fastened life vest, rope, whistle, and plenty of lights. There is a "spirit animal" theme if you wish to take your kayak lighting to another level.

For those interested, the Nipmuck Pow Wow is occurring at Lake Siog Rec area prior to the paddle, 11 am- 5 pm. A small admission fee applies. This is about a 5 minute drive from the boat launch.

Join us at Lake Siog for a full moon paddle. Kayaks, canoes, paddle boards can all join the fun in Holland, MA. Disclaimer: We are only letting you know that like minded people are going. We are not responsible for you, and there will be NO first aid personnel at the event. We let you know the location, you make sure you know the rules of the lake, make sure you have your lifejacket, lighting, charged phones , etc. It is a public place, my suggestion is that you know the lake during the day before you check it out at night.
Our theme for the harvest moon paddle is YOUR SPIRIT ANIMAL. You do not have to participate in the theme if you don't want to, but it does make the event more fun.
