Paddle from River Park, Mansfield
Details
Requirements:
- PFD, 10-foot length of rope, whistle and headlamp/flashlight.
- You must have your PFD on and fully fastened to participate in this event.
- Be prepared to give your emergency contact number to the host if he or she asks for it.
- Event start time is in your boat, in the water, and ready to paddle!
Please be considerate: be on time (in the water and ready to depart!). Cancel on site or call 860-234-9899 if you aren't able to come.
We are going to launch from River Park in Mansfield.
We can go upriver towards Mansfield Depot until it's too shallow and fast, but then down river to Eagleville Pond and the dam. Or go downriver first and save the easy north part for the end. Rain date will be July 19.
head downstream to explore Eagleville Pond, then head upstream to check out a section of the Willimantic River.
